Noise study

There has been a lot of attention in recent years for underwater noise. For example, the European Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) picks up explicitly on the theme as part of a good environmental status. To better explain the concept of underwater noise, international standards are being written. In addition, specific research is taking place on the effects of piling noise.
