Porpoise census

The porpoise is a good indicator of changes in the ecosystem of the North Sea. Currently, there is insufficient information available concerning the spatial distribution of the porpoise, about the presence of (sub) populations as well as any seasonal variations. Through a targeted census the knowledge gap should lessen.
