The OSPAR maritime area

The maritime area covered by the OSPAR Convention includes 5 regions of the North-East Atlantic: I, Arctic Waters; II, the Greater North Sea; III, the Celtic Seas; IV, the Bay of Biscay and Iberian Coast; V, the Wider Atlantic.

Contracting Parties to the Convention are Belgium, Denmark, European Union, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.

The EcoQOs have been developed for Region II, the Greater North Sea.
